Visifire v2.0.8 beta Released

Chirag

Hi,

This release contains fix for the following bugs:

  • Memory leaked in StackedArea Chart.
  • If Bevel for Chart was set at runtime, PlotArea did not get exact height available to draw.
  • If Bevel for Chart was set to True, before applying BorderThickness, Border came on top of the Bevel, instead of Bevel being applied to the Border.
  • Enabled property of AxisLabels threw exception if set at run time.
  • ToolTip displayed even if ToolTipText property of DataPoint/DataSeries was set to NULL.

Download Visifire v2.0.8 beta here.

Cheers,
Team Visifire

    Does this release address the re-rendering issue of a Pie/Doughnut chart when the Exploded property of a DataPoint is set at runtime (within a mouse event)?

    Hi Mike,

    Visifire 2.0.8 beta does not contain the fix for re-rendering issue for Exploded property. This will be fixed in the next release of visifire.

    I would like to know if there is a Maximum data points limit. I wanted to display around 3,000 points or even more and I think the graph (Line graph) is not rendering properly when I displayed it. Sometimes the points don’t have the “pop-up tag” neither the little circle that marks that point. I noticed that if I scrolled back and then forth, sometimes, and only sometimes, it got fixed, but then some other points in the same graph got messed up too, so that doesn’t work. If there is a limit then I guess I’ll state that in my process, if not, I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

    @Oscar,

    There is no limit on the no. of DataPoints in a Chart, the time taken to render increases with the increase in no. of DataPoints, though. This time lag becomes noticeable when you speak in terms of thousands. However, the looks & functionality of the chart is expected to be same, even then. You are reporting a change in these. Could you please start a thread in Visifire forums, so that we can sort this out.

    Regards,

    @Oscar, The problem seems to be with the Scroll Viewer from Silverlight. Once it gets fixed, this issue should get solved by itself.
