Are the aggregations and group by native to the charts or are they performed within the sharepoint server? Reason I ask is that I was wondering if the group by’s and aggregations would make their way to the standard silverlight charts or if it’s exclusive to the sharepoint version.

    Hi Bill,

Very interesting question. Well, the aggregations and group by functionality are not native to the chart. Visifire Chart is just a data visualization component which cannot understand or analyze the business data or business logic by itself. There is one more layer which performs the job with the help of SharePoint server.
