Windows 8 Metro Charts

We are pleased to announce Visifire for Windows 8. The controls are designed based on Swiss graphic design or rather Metro design commissioned by Microsoft. It’s sleek, quick and modern. Visifire offers charts optimized for Windows 8 RT touch-centric XAML apps. What’s more? You need not have to learn one more API for using charts in your Win8 apps. The very same multi-targettedĀ Visifire API works for Windows 8 too.

After installing, no Visifire SDK shows up in the add references manager.

    1. Are other users experiencing this?
    2. Is there a quick work around? I can reference the dll which will get me the controls but the themes are still missing. Therefore, the controls will not appear at runtime. Is there a way I can manually get the themes working while I’m waiting for this to be resolved?

I noticed the downloads page says it’s Beta. Do you know when final bits will be available? My client would like to have their app deployed by the time Windows 8 releases in October.

Restarting Visual Studio should make the SDK available in Add References Manager.

Yes currently it is in beta. We will try to make a GA release before Windows 8 launch.
